“Igniting soul’s through the proclamation of Jesus Christ”.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

This is an activity for all to enjoy and learn in, write as well as read. We call this "Tuesday Scripture", as you will clearly see why. What we would like everyone to do is to post any verse or portion of the Word from your Bible. Along with the portion of Scripture you may place thought, comment, or question. The post does not need be long or short, can be one verse and simply said, "my favorite". Please do share with us and leave the subject line, or write in “Tuesday Scripture”. For the weekly addition of “Tuesday Scripture” and “Weekend Scripture Share”, I have been composing through the Spirit as I study, verse by verse, or portion by portion, from the Book of 2 Corinthians. I am now beginning the tenth Chapter in the Word.

2 Cor. 10:3-4, “For though we live in the world we are not carrying on a worldly war, for the weapons of our warfare are not worldly but have divine power to destroy strongholds.”

When will it end, war, war, war, I am tired of hearing about war, especially form those who don’t know a thing about it. Reminds me of my younger days, remember, "War, huh, what is it good for?" The world wages wars with mortar, bullets, bombs and lives. When a tyrant refuses to stop destroying innocent people nations rise to stop the damage. It might be called damage control. The Apostle Paul (when Saul) understood how to use the resources of this world to wage war against an enemy. He used his power to irradiate heretical people that followed the rebel leader called Jesus. One day Jesus got his attention by demonstrating that all Paul's earthly authority, power and weaponry was absolutely impotent before the authority of the living Lord of all, Jesus the Christ. After years of suffering, learning, obeying, serving and resurrecting to new life over and over again the resurrected servant Paul speaks to the his baby Church creations. They are growing up and need a little instruction, discipline, guidance and insight from daddy. Paul speaks about how to wage war in the Kingdom of God. Amen?, are you getting this?

The principles of the Kingdom of God take precedence over the principles of the kingdom of this world. What is impossible to accomplish using physical earthly resources is possible under the authority of the principles of the Kingdom of God. Love, joy, faith, peace, patience, kindness, generosity and service are weapons used to defeat spiritual strongholds and overcome bondage to sin and spiritual death. So "do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good".

Anyone who may be moved in the spirit to respond or blessed to participate please feel free to do so. The point of these two weekly activities have been directed and set up by God to fellowship in the Word and learn from one another. I am not a teacher, but a Brother in the Family of God and called to His fellowship. I make mistakes and certainly may not see something in the same way as you, therefore always open to corrective criticism so long as it is spoken in the Spirit and conforms with the Bible which I believe to be the Living Word of God.

Love in the Lord
