I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.  The sacrificial blood of Jesus is the most precious gift ever given to mankind, purer than the purest gold, more precious than the finest silver, more costly than any jewel, more significant than any man's accomplishments could ever hope to be!

 

Today's Focus in the Word: "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace"  (Ephesians 1:7)

 

The blood of Jesus which was spilled at Calvary is the most unique, complete, and effective sacrifice ever made.  The blood of Jesus saves, heals, delivers, cleanses, purifies, washes, redeems, restores, renews, atones, and totally provides for mankind whatever is necessary for total and complete redemption and restoration!

 

Let us Pray: "God of all mystery and glory, please open our mind and heart to know You better through the presence of Your Holy Spirit within Your children.  Please bless our physical and spiritual family with insight and illumination about You, Your love, and Your glory.  Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus for without it we would never have had access to You, we would never have experienced a relationship with You, we never would have had anything to celebrate.  But because of the blood that thy Precious Jesus spilled, we can celebrate the new life You have given us through its cleansing power.  Thank You, Lord, again and again and again for the Blood of the Spotless Lamb, Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, our Lord!  We want to know You more fully and reflect Your character and grace more completely.  In Jesus' Name we do pray.  Amen."

 

One of the best things we can pray for each other, and for ourselves, is that we might better know God.  The Holy Spirit helps us better know God, 1 Cor. 2, worship God, John 4, and speak to God, Rom. 8.  Let's ask God to use His Spirit to help us know Him, not just know about Him.  God is not only the Almighty Creator of all things, He is also our Father who cares about us deeply.  O', the blood of Jesus, it still washes white as snow!

 

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."  (Revelation 12:11)
