Colin Brown Shiloh Fellowship www.shilohfellowship.org.au God is Having His Way Shortly after I awoke this morning, there rose up from deep within me the declaration, "God is having His way!" I knew that Heaven was speaking. We are at the threshold of the Lord revealing Himself and His ways like never before. He will now have His way. He will have no other way. This is the Lord's day! Now His Word will be magnified! "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, even among the survivors whom the LORD calls." -- Joel 2:28-32 Restfully Pressing Through From here on, the wise will be "restfully pressing through" in the fray, dust, and smoke of the hour. Seasoned warriors will enter into His rest once and for all. A remarkable resistance movement is at hand and will be defined by the Lord's peace ruling hearts personally and our lives corporately. This corporate company is arising to demonstrate the unity that Jesus asked for. Faith and peace will go hand-in-hand, and wherever something is not of the Spirit, ". . . the people who know their God will firmly resist him" (Daniel 11:32). This is an offensive battle! The Lord is leading the way, and we are being led by the triumph and power of the cross of our Lord Jesus. The experience of His freedom is advancing at an accelerating rate. Nothing will thwart God having His way. Nothing! Every appearance to the contrary will sooner or later prove to be a revelation of His overruling love, grace, mercy, and peace. Honor The Lord will now honor those who honor Him. The humility of Christ in those of His people who have learned the wisdom of yielding to the Word and the Spirit will begin to display an authority that will be, shockingly to some, profound! There will be a fresh revelation in this day of the Lord of what is meant by, "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things -- and the things that are not -- to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him. . . Let those who boast, boast in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 1:27-31). The Lord's honor will be primary. His name will be great. His ways will be esteemed. Where His ways are not esteemed, this will change. The spiritual "seismic plates" are shifting in His favor. Haman will be known and exposed. Mordecai will be vindicated. Jesus will be glorified.
