I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Yes, it has been quite some time since sharing the blessing of this regular activity. For those who may not be familiar with these activities, this is an activity for all to enjoy and learn in, write as well as read. We call this "Weekend Scripture Share", as you will clearly see why. What we would like everyone to do is to post any verse or portion of the Word from your Bible. Along with the portion of Scripture you may place thought, comment, or question. The post does not need be long or short, can be one verse and simply said, "my favorite". Anyone may participate, even when I fail to. Anyone who may desire their response all participating ministry group's may send their response to my default mail allowing us to share it with other's.

Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." KJV

Paul's point that he is able to live for God because the Law has put him to death. Paul no longer seeks to justify his value by how well he is able to appear perfect to the public by looking like he is obeying all the "Law". Jesus called such people white-washed-sepulchers meaning they covered the evil inside with an appearance of holiness. Paul was one like this until he died to pleasing men with a hypocritical external show. He knew when he looked at himself that he could not perfectly obey the "Law". So he died to living a lie which made him able to live for God, fearing God more than man, choosing to endure human rejection while trusting in God's providence over human provision. So Paul joined Jesus in His crucifixion. Jesus allowed himself to be betrayed, tortured, crucified, die and be buried to reveal God's power over human authority, demonstrate what it takes to die to self and live for God, revealing the existence of a resurrected life that overcomes the world.

Jesus provides a way to be transformed from the inside out. He does this through a commitment to honesty and truth without regard for earthly consequences. In Christ Jesus it is possible to live without the torment of fearing rejection because of the sinful character flaws that inevitable lead to loss. He provides an opportunity to be free to reveal flaws to all, trust Him in the resulting suffering and emerge from the fire of consequences wiser, stronger and more mature. The person that has died to hypocritical pretense, has no life outside of the one who makes it possible to die and raise to new life. Living occurs only through constant persistent unwavering belief that Jesus the Christ died for sin, forgave and rose to new life as God among us. Living occurs for the dead in Christ through a choice to maintain an attitude of faith, always believing that Christ is alive inside transforming, rebuilding, renewing and restoring human flawed character from the inside out.

Anyone who may be moved in the Spirit to respond or blessed to participate please feel free to do so. The point of these activities have been directed and set up by God to fellowship in the Word and learn from one another. I am not a teacher in the Word, nor Pastor, but a Brother in the Family of God and called to His fellowship. I make mistakes and certainly may not see something in the same way as you, therefore always open to corrective criticism so long as it is spoken in the Spirit and conforms with the Bible which I believe to be the Living Word of God.
