As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord ´

God is in control, in our nation, our cities, our jobs, our school systems. As believers, in our pursuit of knowing God, we must understand, regardless of how things may look or feel, God is in control. He alone is sovereign, Amen.
Focus from the Word: "For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations." (Psalm 22:28)
We know of God's sovereignty intellectually, and we believe it theologically, but our hearts have to grow in knowledge that God is totally in control. As we grow in the Lord, our understanding of His sovereignty grows. As our understanding grows, our surrender to Him increases. Once we understand the sovereignty of God, we totally surrender and He truly becomes Lord. When we understand that God is in control, when we recognize His sovereignty, it brings an incredible sense of peace into our lives. We can absolutely trust Him without fear.
Let us Pray: "O' Sovereign Lord, help us to trust in You more than ever before! Lord, help us to find peace in knowing that You are sovereign over all, that You are totally in control, and that nothing can happen that You are not aware of. Father, thank You for Your perfect love. Thank You that we don't have to fear losing Your love because it is an everlasting, unfailing, unwavering love that You have toward each one of us. Lord, You proved Your love for us through the sacrifice of the Spotless Lamb, Jesus Christ, how could we ask for more? Father, Lord of all, thank You for Your Word, thank You for Your warning to be sober and to be vigilant when it concerns the wiles of the enemy. Help us to be strong when we feel like we're being stalked, not allowing him to win confidence knowing that he has succeeded in putting fear into our heart. Lord, help us to remember at all times that You are for us and not against us, that the blood of Jesus has won us the victory, and that nothing can ever separate us from Your love! Forgive us for sometimes doubting Your love, we will remember that it is constant, we don't have to earn it, and we cannot lose it. Hallelujah! You are truly awesome! Almighty God, thank You for inspiring ordinary people to give us Your extraordinary message in common, everyday language. Thank You for delivering that essential message to us in the Bible and preserving it through times of persecution, hardship, and opposition. Please use those same Scriptures to ignite a whole new
revival in our heart and throughout our land. Righteous Father, please help us all to know Jesus better, to be formed more perfectly into His image, and to live with His character. Please, dear God, we want to be like Christ in our character and conduct. We want to be a genuine disciple and become more and more like our great Teacher everyday. In the Name of Jesus we pray. Amen. "
Do you live in fear? Are you afraid of the future? Do you see evil in the days ahead? The Word of God proves His sovereignty, get into the Word and grab hold of His promises and the testimonies of His grace in the time of need. You'll soon find yourself at peace just knowing God is in control, nothing happens that He is not aware of or has not allowed. God is sovereign over all, God is in control.
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)
