                         As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord ´

The sacrificial blood of Jesus is the most precious gift ever given to mankind, purer than the purest gold, more precious than the finest silver, more costly than any jewel, more significant than any man's accomplishments could ever hope to be!  The blood of Jesus which was spilled at Calvary is the most unique, complete, and effective sacrifice ever made.  Amen!

 

Today’s Focus in the Word: "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace"  (Ephesians 1:7)

 

The blood of Jesus saves, heals, delivers, cleanses, purifies, washes, redeems, restores, renews, atones, and totally provides for mankind whatever is necessary for total and complete redemption and restoration!

 

Let us Pray: “Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus for without it we would never have had access to You, we would never have experienced a relationship with You, we never would have had anything to celebrate.  But because of the blood that my Precious Jesus spilled, I can celebrate the new life You have given me through its cleansing power.  Thank You, Lord, again and again and again for the Blood of the Spotless Lamb, Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, our Lord!  Father, when we think of Abraham and what he had endured while holding fast to your promises, we are encouraged that You will do the same for each of us.  We thank You, Lord, that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, that which You had promised in Your Word to me and to others, You are able also to perform.  Father, we love You, yet so often we fall short, not taking care to be obedient to Your commands.  Help us, Father, to walk in Your ways, to follow in Your path, to obey Your Word.  Transcendent and yet ever-near God, thank You for not making us wait to experience Your presence.  Thank You for giving us ‘a foretaste of glory divine.’  Thank You for sending Your blessed and promised Spirit to live in me and remind me where my home truly is.  Until the day we see You face to face, we want to honor Your presence in our mortal body by living a life that is pure, holy, and a blessing to others.  In Jesus Name we pray.  Amen.”

 

God is true to His Word.  He keeps His promises.  But, that was not enough for Him.  He gave us a down payment, a deposit, so we could be sure of our inheritance and look forward to the full realization of our salvation.  He gave us the Holy Spirit.  When God buys us out of slavery to our mortal bodies and redeems us into our eternal home with bodies that will not grow old or decay, we won't need the deposit, we will have the full inheritance.  But until then, until we go to Him, isn't it amazing that He makes His home within us.  "You were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession, to the praise of His glory."  Ephesians 1:14.  



Oh, the blood of Jesus, it still washes white as snow!

 

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

(Revelation 12:11)
