A season of enlargement and increase is at hand. Enlargement of influence and an increase in anointing, favor, and blessing. The Body of Christ is being invited by the Spirit to walk and move in acceleration of miracle power, healing, and soul winning. Are you ready? The Lord is inviting the Body to a 40-day prayer and consecration mandate beginning this Monday (August 9) up to and including September 17 (the end of Rosh Hashanah -- Jewish New Year). The word on this came very clear to me. Every time the Lord has called our ministry to something like this in the past it has always been followed by blessing and breakthrough. The Holy Spirit is inviting His Body to a whole new level of ministry, empowerment, and anointing, and I believe this 40-day season of prayer and focus will prepare us. He is ready to, once again, expand the church's sphere of influence in the world, and He is inviting anyone who is willing to partake in a preparation season for it. During this season, what you sow, you will reap. The magnitude of the outcome will be dependent on our posture and prayer focus during the 40 days. It is going to take an expansion of our foundations in Christ and His Word. Our priority for preparing for a season of expansion in the Body is not strategizing for more meetings, more programs, better technology and equipment, better ways of advertising and marketing, more personnel, more finance, etc...it is simply MORE OF HIM! More surrender, more anointing, more grace (His divine influence upon our lives), and especially MORE FRIENDSHIP with HIM. Partake of His Promises The following scriptures have been quickened to me. They all include promises of what the Lord is inviting us to partake of: Isaiah 54:2-3 "Enlarge the place of your tent; stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs, for you will spread abroad to the right and to the left and your descendants will possess nations and will resettle the desolate cities." Job 29 -- the entire chapter. This describes the anointing and favor that Job walked in before his trial. This is what the Lord is inviting us to. Matthew 4 -- the entire chapter. This describes Jesus' time in the wilderness and how He came forth in power. We also will come forth in power. Song of Solomon 8:5 "Who is this coming from the wilderness leaning on her beloved?" *Note: I believe this will be our posture after the 40-day consecration period. Matthew 10:1-8 -- Speaks of the apostolic anointing. This is being offered to us. Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-21 -- The commissioning. We will walk in a fuller measure of this in this coming season. Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power" (dunamis -- miracle working God power) "when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses...even unto the remotest parts of the earth." Acts 4:33 "And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them." (Notice that great power, great grace, and then...great provision -- in verse 34) Psalm 91 -- this Psalm speaks of a supernatural protection that comes from abiding. The Lord will conquer warfare issues in our lives and ministry during this season. John 15:1-8 -- the promises of abiding in Christ. We are being invited to bear MUCH fruit and so prove to be Christ's disciples. Psalm 110:2,3 "The Lord will stretch forth your strong scepter from Zion, saying rule in the midst of your enemies. Your people will volunteer freely in the day of your power; in holy array, from the womb of the dawn, your youth are as to you as dew." Deuteronomy 28:1,2 "Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God...all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you." Joshua 3:5 "Then Joshua said to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.'" 1 Chronicles 4:10 "Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, 'Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from evil that I might not cause harm.' And God granted him what he requested." Colossians 3:1-4 "Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory." Proverbs 2:1-15 -- This portion promises wisdom, discernment, knowledge, and protection for those who seek and ask. We will need increased wisdom and discernment in this new season. Prayer Strategy: 1. Spend extra time each day in worship and declaration of Christ's Lordship and Kingship over your life (and ministry, church, business). 2. Go through the scriptures (above) daily, meditating on and praying through each portion, decreeing the promises over your life (and ministry, church, business). Note: The more you meditate on and pray through the promises, the more faith will be released. The promises will then become woven into the fiber of your being and also established in the heart of your ministry, church, or business -- His Word does not return void but accomplishes its purposes. 3. Ask the Lord if you are to fast during this time. I would suggest fasting a certain type of food, something that you really like. This discipline reminds us that we are positioned to wrestle down the flesh and its passions so that the new life Christ has given us predominates. (Galatians 2:20) 4. Pray in tongues each day (I would suggest a minimum of 15 minutes in focused time). 5. Spend time soaking and receiving by faith the fresh anointing, wisdom, and blessings for the next season. Bedtime might be good for this. 6. Journal any insights the Lord gives you during this time. Print this off and put in your Bible or a place where you will be able to use it each day. When you complete the strategy each day, place a cross over the date. August: 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 September: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 Note: This commitment WILL require a sacrifice of time. I think possibly an extra hour to an hour and a half each day. Perhaps you can look at it as a tithe of your waking hours. If you give Him a tenth of your time for this specific prayer mandate (I realize that for many of you, He has all your attention and service in your waking hours, but this is a specific tithe for this prayer/consecration mandate), then you will see the windows of heaven open to pour out the blessings according to all you have committed unto Him -- GLORY!!!
