Speaking of crude, I just mount the camera to my file system and open
them Konqueror-as-file-manager. I edit them with ImageMagick. Not sure
why that's supposed to be so difficult, but most say it is. All I do is
crop, and occasionally change the light-level, etc. Once I did a
"clean-up" and it actually helped a bad photo I got off-line. No
graphics wizard am I.
