I've got my sound now, and I have a financial program that appears good, 
but now I've lost my printers.

When I try to print a document, I get an error that says,

"CUPS server error"
"The CUPS scheduler is not running"

I've rebooted, thinking it would load the scheduler, but I still am not 
accessing my printers, and I'm still getting the error.  <sigh><
