Google stops censoring Christian ads

Many people have been getting critical of Google, the dominant search engine, simply because it's so big. Others have complained that people have no privacy anymore, because Google search can reveal shocking amounts of personal information about individuals. (Which is hardly fair to Google, since it's not the only search engine in the world, just the most popular. If it wasn't around, people would still be using AltaVista or Yahoo or something.) What I haven't seen people complaining about is the potential for Google to censor the Internet, by deciding what information users may or may not see. In March, Google refused to show ads about abortion placed by the Christian Institute. (more)
