In today's quote, George Muller uses the word 'mean' to describle Jesus. 
the word 'mean' in this context is defined as "lowly in status" - up to 
and including George Muller's time, this definition was used in common 
conversation, we don't use it as much in 2012!
A good example of this usage is found in the lyrics of the Christmas 
Hymn "What Child Is this - "Why lies He in such mean estate."
