Greetings. I agree with you that we should be teaching that man was created in the image of God. But, at least by my perspective, I think that elves/humans/dwarves are All men, just different races. One person is born a little shorter, another is born with pointy ears, etc. Over time they split into different populaion. So, elves, dwarves, and humans are all of the same species, but different races (in the socialogical sense).
