Is that abuse of the rules, or is it a healthy emphasis >on the scripture? That is one of those unclear areas. One place in the rules says that a LR may do one or the other. Another place says that WordRunes can be recited while you battle. Common sense says that if you can do it in real life, you can in hte game. So, yes, allow the players to recite while they battle. But do not allow them to read a WordRune while fighting, that would be next to impossible. >Okay - say a character is facing a Greedo enchantment. Then the character rolls to see if he does resist the enchantment. >After he has failed to resist, will it help if another player quotes this to him, or even if >he quotes it himself? No, it will not help to resist the Sin Enchantment. The WordRune must be recited (or read) before the roll. If the character fails the roll, he will take the specified MU damage, in this case, his JOy will be damaged. After he falls under the Sin Enchantment, other LightRaiders may quote other appropriate WRs or passages from the Sacred Scrolls in order to attempt to rescue the stricken LR. >Since this is unique to DragonRaid, I am trying to figure out how "tough" it ought to >be to effect a rescue from enchantment.
