I don't have anything to defend here, but I do think there are definite lessons that could be taught with this scenario. The OverLord has been in the business of armies for a long long time if reading Old Testament history tells us anything. And he won't be out of it until the rider of the white horse whose name is Faithful and True judges and makes war and leads His army into the last battle. The biggest draw I have to this idea is that it is perhaps one of the best ways to communicate to a small group that we are only part of a much bigger whole. With the right writing a group might learn that hundreds of others depend on their actions. I'm getting convicted just writing this! I think we as Christians are sometimes guilty of downplaying a Warrior King not afraid to show triumph over His enemies. A goblin is sin which the OverLord calls us to kill on sight. If that sight is hundreds, their death in mass is no less AND no greater victory to the OverLord than single combat. Like all the great elements of DragonRaid I think it is not the idea here but it's use by the AM that will make this useful or not to what God wants to teach a group. Just offering a different opinion for iron sharpening. I would be happy to fight and minister alongside anybody on the list! -Jim friend of Jamdrew
