Somebody's missed the point with this whole discussion...

DragonRaid uses dice to determine random events in a fictional, game-like
setting. The item under discussion was using this same method to increase
variableness into a situation that, in real life, has some variableness (is
that a real word?) to it -- specifically, evangelism. One person will be
easy to reach, based on factors well out of our control; another, apparently
under identical conditions, will be tough to reach with the exact same approach.

It sure makes sense to me to allow a fictional character (for which we have
little or no real history) to reflect anywhere along the range of possible
responses instead of (as it is now) simply have the text say the dragon
slave either will or won't respond to the Great Rescue.

Rolling dice is not how we, here, today determine whether to witness to
someone or determine God's will on an issue. God doesn't use dice to
determine if that person will respond to the invitation. We're talking
about using dice in a role-playing game, people -- not real life. All these
discussions about whether God does or doesn't speak through random events
are moot -- they don't apply to the situation at hand.
