The wings are mentioned later in the bible.  And they say he had eyes
like fire, and a face like a mans.  I believe that was when Mary saw
Gabriel, although I could be wrong on that.  Peretti's angels had wings
too though.  They often talk about the angels flying and soaring...but
when the appear to humans they can either be light up with wings and all
or just normal people.  Sorta like the touched by an angel apporach.  I
say we use Angel's AND the Fantastical Angels (Pegasi and Unicorns). 
This game is flexible enough...change it for your own players to help
them grow best, but lets not try and limit the game.
