"Or only Europeans > have souls in which can be redeemed." But it does apply, because we are in a multi-species world. Angels are intelligent, living creatures just as we are. When they fall, they become demons and are not redeemable, because God chose not to save them. Do we try to second-guess God and ask why not? We better not. His purposes are above us, beyond us, and unable to be attained by us. I think it takes great audacity to even ask the question. God is the creator. We are mere creatures. We, as finite beings, are not going to understand everything about God, who is infinite. All we can do is recognize what He has revealed to us. > and brought this subject up) I propose that the only true races are those > that are redeemable, regardless of what they are. Take away their "humanity" > and you take away the debate. This gives far too much power to those doing the "animation." Dark creatures can be seen as intelligent forms of life. We already have the biblical parallel in the fallen angels. Why is this so difficult for people? They can't be redeemed. They represent sin gone as far as it can go. God will punish them in the lake of fire. All of this is from the Bible. We're just using it as a parallel in a Christian fantasy universe in order to teach certain Scriptural truths. If there were some biblical argument for redeeming demons, that would be different. But if you're simply "offended" by this, then I think you need to examine yourself to ascertain whether or not you are putting yourself in a position to judge God. Always remember: we are the exception to the rule. Sin must be punished. We did not deserve forgiveness (Eph 2:8-9, Isaiah 64:6). God simply loved us and decided to save us. Why? We don't know. But we shouldn't automatically assume that because we can be saved that every being that God may have created can be (or should be). That's God's pervue, not ours. We already have an example from the Bible stating that this is not the case. God created angels. Some of them fell. But those fallen cannot be redeemed. We're just using the same principle for dark creatures. It should make you appreciate all the more God's great gift to you. There was absolutely nothing in you that caused God to love you: He simply decided to. Nothing in your actions, motives, or character caused God to love you (otherwise, you would have earned salvation in some way). Praise God! If He didn't save me, I'd be on a direct path to hell.
