As it turns out, I'm also something of an expert in cults, cultic influences and apologetics (guess what Quest for Kendra is all about...). When I was doing it full time, we used exactly the technique described above to great effect. We even went so far as to present ourselves as Mormon missionaries (complete with dark suits and nametags) on a couple of occaisions. The point is, roleplaying is an effective teaching tool. _We_ knew we were playing a role, even if they didn't. And we never got so into the role that we couldn't get out again. He has lied to the American people, time and time again, and betrayed their trust. He is no longer an effective leader. Since he has admitted guilt, there is no reason to put the American people through an impeachment. He will serve absolutely no purpose in finishing out his term; the only possible solution is for the president to save some dignity and resign." - William Jefferson Clinton, 1974.
