Heh, why not? That's exactly what I'm trying to get done (though it might
not be DRaid). But it's not like falling off a long. Still, one can keep
trying.
Someone who knows Java should consider writing this in that language. It'd
simplify some of the problems of running on multiple systems.

Ha ha. Very funny. :-) Why don't we write a first person virtual reality
DragonRaid game while we're at it? How many DragonRaid players have access
to a Palm Pilot?
But seriously, the idea was simply to provide the basic functionality to
create and maintain characters via computer. Lots of people have
spreadsheets to do this, but it would be a lot easier and more user
friendly to have a program for it.
The printing portion would be simply so that players could take a
printout of their characters with them on game night and have everything
up to date.
We haven't actually talked about this idea for several months, but finding
that Xbasic site yesterday brought it to my mind, and I thought it would
be a good idea to see what gifts we had available to us among the
DragonRaid enthusiasts on this list. :-) There are so many new
subscribers, and we'll never know the gifts and talents God is bringing to
us without asking. :-)
