Well let's put this into today on earth life.  There are plenty of good 
causes that we as people, let alone Christians can support, one way or 
another.  For example, the March of Dimes.  

Now, we have to consider our convictions and leading of God before we sign up 
to help, in anyway, a group.  The Knights of Columbus come to mind, who are 
somewhat affiliated with the Free Masons.  Knowing that Free Masons are a 
secret society, and allow anyone to worship any god, no matter how false, 
would and does keep me from asking for help, or supporting them in any 
fashion.  (Including hall rentals)  But that is me and my convictions. 

So now that I've said all that..... I would have to say, generally speaking, 
No, LR's should not accept help from those who are not twice born.  (Wasn't 
that in RSS?)  IF our God is an all powerful, caring God, He will supply all 
our needs, including LR's and armies and such....

Now, not generally speaking, if the OLMN says, supply group once-born with 
armor and weapons, and use them in battle against the enemy, I would have to 
have that confirmed in the sacred scrolls and obey.
