Hi,

I am planning on having a day off this coming Friday, and I plan on using most 
of the day to write and edit DR stuff.  I am working on the Dark Creatures 
section and want to hear something from all of you.

I have already dropped the spaceship stuff, so the DCs can not come from other 
planets.  That leaves us fewer options as to their origins and nature.

Also, to close the issue of DCs being redeemable, we need to choose a method 
for their creation or manifestation that clearly makes them unredeemable.  
Making them minor demons seems to complicate the problem, so I want to avoid 
that route.

So, as I see it, DCs either need to be 

a) manifestations of evil that have physical form and operate in the physical 
world

or 

b) normal, physical beings who were evil from their creation ala orcs from Lord 
of the Rings.

Please think about this a bit and send in your comments about what the 
spiritual implications of either nature would be, keeping in mind that this is 
an alegorical game system and does not have to be perfectly accurate in 
representing real life.  Also, I am not so much interested in game mechanics 
because those can be set up to accomodate either situation.

I know that there are a bunch of you who are lurkers and semi-lurkers, so let's 
hear from you on this one :-)
