Well, I don't think it is a simple one or the other thing. The issue is one of deliverance. Some people are miraculously delivered when they are converted and others still struggle with some heavy things afterward. So (I know you didn't want game mechanics, but...) I would predetermine what sin enchantments they had then role a dice upon conversion to determine how many of them they are delivered from. Actually though, the more I think about it, the more I think that everyone has at least one or two things they still struggle with after conversion. Otherwise we would be made perfect right there and we all know that just ain't so for any of us. So if I had to choose, I would go with option 2. Kev P.S. Sorry no scripture.
