Joe, I've been lurking on the Christian RPG discussion group for a couple of weeks now and listened to some of them defend their playing some pretty crazy stuff. I do have to say that I find it refreshing to be a part of this group and return here to listen to discussions that remain grounded in a world that unquestionably glorifies God in it's very worldview. Thank you for your work on it and for staying true to the vision of making it a discipleship tool. Though I may not enjoy the simplistic game mechanics of DR at times, I sure appreciate it's purity and focus. And I respect your leadership on this list in keeping the discussions on DragonRaid and it's mission and pointing to the higher road always. I happen to be pretty conservative on the issue of RPG subject matter and am refreshed to know that DR is in good hands. As for Diablo. I could not agree with you more on your warnings, implied if not directly stated. I think we need to be careful, especially with who we fall back on to defend our causes. I hear alot of this going on at that other group and have checked out alot of SECULAR web sites lately that they mention to support their views. And some of these secular site creators call themselves Christians based on all kinds of things less than scriptural. Be careful!
