This is going to literally everyone in my Address Book.  I
tried to edit out duplicates, but doubt that I succeeded.  I
apologize for you getting this message more than once.

The situation in the Klamath Basin is critical.  The
petition at the address below has the potential to be of a
significance similar to that of the petitions of redress
authored by the founding fathers of our nation.  If won, the
victory will be as important in our nation's history as the
battle of Gettysburg or the end of the World Wars.

Thus, I'm going to do something I have never done before,
and expect to never do again.  I'm asking you to not only
sign the petition, but to pass the URL on to the people in
YOUR Address Book.  Don't assume they've already seen it; I
got it from a source I would have expected to have been
among the last to get it.  Since part of my Address Book
crashed recently, many of my family and closest friends
won't get this message.  You may be the one to pass it on to
a critical link in the chain.

Understand that the chain IS  critical.  This battle will be
won if and only if it is of importance to the bulk of
citizens in the nation.  The only way it can be of
importance is if people are aware of what's going on, and
what their government is doing in their name.  It's
importance can be expressed through this petition and
through simple conversations with your friends and family.

Fortunately people are becoming aware.  I was signature
#7441 and, in the minute or two it took me to confirm my
signature and then check the signature files, three others
were added.  More have been added while I write this.  I
don't know when the petition started but I do have an idea
as to how it will be completed.  If that number grows into
the hundreds of thousands of Americans, or even millions,
then we have a chance to not only change the situation in
the Klamath Basin but, perhaps, stop a slide into socialism
and tyranny here in the United States.

So, stop by the website.  There links there, providing
information as to what's happening in the Klamath Basin, so
you can grasp the significance of the situation.  Add your
name to those on the petition, and then pass it on to those
in your Address Book.  Take part in an opportunity to fight
city hall -- and win.
