The descriptuions of Spiritual Armor on pages 19 and 20 of the AMM need a
little clarifying, but you can see taht they provide a Success Check
against certain things:

Belt - automatically resists some low level Sin Enchantments and
temptations, sets level of damage to dragons for refuting Mind Speech

Breastplate - resist temptations

Shield of Faith - defense against physical weapons and dragon fire

Helmet - resist Sin Enchantments dealing with doubt

Sword - sets usable WR level

Boots - if Courage check fails, may re-roll with BGP
