I'll bet that you didn't even know that I was out of town.  I dragged my
family to Fort Wayne, Indiana so that I could attend Pentacon
(http://www.pentacon.org/) at the convention center downtown.  Meanwhile, my
girls visted with the Dispenza family who used to be in our Akron DR group
until Bob had to move to Fort Wayne for a job.

Bob and his son Justin attended the convention for a while, just long enough
to foil my decisive victory in Galactic Grenadiers.  We also squeezed in
several hands of Redemption.

I also learned how to play Settlers of Cataan, so now I can open my copy of
Settlers of Canaan from www.cactusgamedesign.com and wreck havoc (build
mega-cities and commerce, actually) in the Holy Lands.

Anyway, for a local convention, Pentacon was pretty good.  The management
seems to try to do a good job and be responsive to their crowd.  The dealer
room has gotten better over the past couple of years that I have attended.
If you ever go, King Gyro is only a block away :-)
