Hey, all.  I've been hanging out, watching all the fuss and whatnot, and I 
thoguht I'd ask a question that's been on my mind.

I recall seeing, way back in the day, so far back, in fact, that I have but 
a dim recollection of it (that is, a couple of years ago), a listing of all 
the WordRunes, on Mr. Sezov's site, I believe.  I noticed that those of them 
which in the first edition had effects which could be attributed to 
supernatural causes had been changed, i.e. the Night Light WordRune no 
longer creates a floating ball of light but instead enables LRs to find a 
torch nearby.  I was wondering if this is going to be the norm in the 2nd 
Edition?  I would say that I'd be pretty ticked at this, except for the fact 
that it wouldn't make an ounce of difference in my campaigns, nobody's gonna 
force me to use them ;-)  In any case, and in all seriousness, I'm actually 
just curious about this issue.  Was the plan to replace the WordRunes with 
new, more mundane effects?  For that matter, will there be a wider selection 
of WordRunes (and thus more effects, i.e. increasing particular weapons 
skills)?  Indeed, I appear to have typed-- er, tapped-- myself out, so I 
find that it would probably be best if I simply stopped.
