I like that a lot, at least as another sort of "academic center" in the LL that healing centers in other towns defer to. Where is it then, and what's it called?

>How are old people treated?

Venerated, I imagine, as it should be.

>Does money from the Dragon Lands get exchanged for LL coinage or is it

I'm still in favor of the former. I still think there should be plenty of practical logistics involved in raid preparation; sometimes it seems like things are a little too easy for a team at the start, which I think can take away from the sense that they're setting off on what could be an epic adventure. When they fall out of bed, step into a tree, and have everything they need in their packs when they arrive in the DL (this is exaggerated, of course, but for the sake of the argument....), there's little to suggest an investment of time, planning, and preparation--and less of that sort of investment can mean diminished interest in the long run. Just my thoughts.

>How about the fishing trade? The Mist Barrier is 1000 miles or more >long going both east and west from the LL, so how far do fishermen go >before turning back? Does anyone venture anywhere near the South Pole?

Surely there's a bustling trade along the southern coast. And Talania is in the northern hemisphere a good ways, so who's to say one of those other two mysterious continents isn't to the south....?
