It points out a problem that we addressed during a Friday night chat some months ago. Yes, there are some notes in our revision, so it will be clarified in DR2ED. Page 68 of the AMM mentions that a character may not take on a Special Character Role until he has successfully completed three adventures, even if the character meets the requirements before that. Since there are only three published adventures, LightRaider Test, Rescue of the Sacred Scrolls, and MoonBridge, (by the current rules) a character should not take on a Special Role until after MoonBridge. The problem has been the classification of the MoonBridge Raid. Is it one adventure or three? Personally, I think MoonBridge should be counted as one adventure. But, that leaves a lot of characters dangling and players frustrated for a long period of time. So, to fix this mess, I would like to add a couple of adventures between RSS and MBR. >From what I know of the adventures in progress, I would have a group play them in this order: LightRaider Test Rescue of the Sacred Scrolls Descent into Darkness Sorcerer's Apprentice MoonBridge 1,2, and 3 Lost Brother County Faire (I left out some that I know of because I have not been privileged to read them, yet. Of those, Schools of Destruction, Seven Churches, Quest for Kendra. Any others?) So, at the end of DID, all the characters who qualify would receive their calling from the OverLord to a Special Character Role. One short adventure to get used to the Role, then the characters are ready for MoonBridge and Beyond. How is that?
