Do You Know the Gift of God?

Think about the statement of Jesus to the woman in the story, 

Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water." 
(Jn. 4:10 NKJV) 

I have always focused on the second of the two things that Jesus said this woman should have known. If she knew Jesus, she would have asked Him for a drink of water. However, before that He said that if she knew the gift of God, then she would have asked Jesus for a drink of water. Knowing the gift of God would have led her to know that there is something even more important than water for the body. Water for the body is extremely important, but water for the soul is even more important. Anything for the soul is more important than anything for the body. What do you value in life?
