Read the Bible in a year by reading Hebrews 11:1-19 today Seeking God By Don Ruhl There was a man who did not die, because God took him before he could die. The man was Enoch, who pleased God with faith. God rewarded the man by taking him off the earth. After giving that example of the blessedness of pleasing God, the writer of Hebrews said, But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (He. 11:6). By faith, we please God. Faith knows that God is, and knows that God rewards those who diligently seek Him. He rewarded Enoch with never experiencing death. How shall God reward us? Ultimately we will be in heaven, but He may choose to bless us now in various ways. However, we must be diligent God-seekers. Seek God daily by thinking of Him. Think of what He wants you to do in your situation. Think of how He wants you to grow. Pray to Him constantly during the day about helping you to become what He wants you to be. There are many ways to seek God. If you are diligent, you will find ways. Check out: Forthright Magazine.
