The Lord Is Always in the Holiest Place

The Lord said this to Moses, "Tell Aaron your brother not to come at just any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, lest he die; for I will appear in the cloud above the mercy seat" (Le. 16:2). Rather than Aaron entering before the Ark of the Covenant at any time that he pleased, God set him a time for when he was to come in. At that appointed time, Aaron could do his annual work of high priest. 

However, our high priest is before the real Ark of the Covenant in heaven at all times. Jesus is ever ready to make intercession for us. Use Him when you sin. Confess your sin to God, seeking forgiveness and Jesus, who is always present before the Father, will do His work and you shall be forgiven.
