Let People See the Word

The average person living around you has no idea what the word of God says. Even Christians need to be reminded constantly what the word says. I have been reading through the Bible annually for around 31 years, yet, I still come across things that I need to hear. 

When two people are in an argument about the Scriptures, often neither one shows the other what the Bible teaches. Yet, when one person does open the Scriptures and read what is written, it is amazing what happens. Even when there is not an argument, you may hear a preacher declaring something and you are not quite ready to accept what he is saying, until he reads the Scripture. Then you have a wonderful experience. What happens in these cases is what the psalmist talked about, "Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law" (Ps. 119:18). When you show people what the Bible says, their eyes are opened and they see wonderful things. Try it and see what happens.
