The Beginning of a Nation

God knows the beginning of every nation. They all started small and perhaps from a single family, as did the nation of Edom. Moses wrote of the wives of Esau and some of their descendants (Gen 36.1-5), but his livestock became many, as did Jacob's, and they could not live in the same area (vv. 6, 7). Therefore, Esau moved out of the area and Moses wrote, "So Esau dwelt in Mount Seir. Esau is Edom" (v. 8). 

God knows all the nations and the families of the earth, including yours. What do you do to make your family acceptable before the Lord of heaven and earth?
