Read the Bible in a Year This evening read Acts 11 Do Not Doubt the Spirit Peter explained to some members of the church why he went and preached to Gentiles. 12 Then the Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered the man's house (Act. 11:12). Peter did not doubt what the Holy Spirit told him. He did doubt the Lord when He prophesied that Peter would deny the Lord. Peter learned that when deity speaks, it is the truth, even if we do not want to believe that it is the truth. Is there something in the Holy Spirit-inspired Scriptures that you have doubted? If the Spirit spoke it, it is the truth. Therefore, believe it.
