What a New Convert Did

It is customary for us to emphasize what the church needs to do to help new converts, but new converts, if they have truly been changed into the likeness of Christ, will be eager to do things for the people who taught them and for the rest of the church. This is what the first European convert did.

15 And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us (Act. 16:15).

Do you always question what others have done for you? Start asking yourself what you have done for others. The church exists to serve others, that is true, but if you are a Christian, you are now a part of the church, which means that you are now one of the servants. Are you fulfilling your task?
