Read the Bible in a Year
This morning read Psalms 10--12

Where Is God?

Have you asked questions like those that the psalmist asked?

1	Why do You stand afar off, O LORD?
Why do You hide in times of trouble?
	(Psa. 10:1).

Read the rest of Psalm 10 and see what the psalmist concluded.

Why do we ask such questions? I suppose there are as many answers to that question as there are situations that make us ask the questions of Psalm 10:1. One thing is that we often have preconceived ideas on how the world, especially our own little worlds, should run. When God does not follow our plans, we wonder where He is or what He is doing. God is eager to bless us, and wants to hear our requests, but we must always remember that He is God, and as such, He knows how to run the world righteously. Therefore, it is a matter of trusting Him to do the right thing at all times, even if it is not what we want.
