Read the Bible in a Year This evening read Acts 27:1--26 How You Can Comfort Others Often Christians do not know what to say to comfort those whose hearts are troubled. Learn from what Paul said, 25 "Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me" (Act. 27:25). In short, believe in God. Do it yourself. Let others see your example. Then encourage them to do the same. It does not mean that God will then take away every trouble, but it does mean that He will carry us through every trouble.
