Read the Bible in a Year
This morning read Psalms 107--109

Accusers and Prayer

Psalm 109 prophesied of Judas and Jesus. Verses 1--3 prophesied of the conspiracy against Jesus, and that included the evil work of Judas, who is spoken about in verses 6--20. Jesus came into the world to love. Yet, many returned that love with false accusations against Him. Verse 4 speaks of this.

4	In return for my love they are my accusers,
But I give myself to prayer.
	(Psa. 109:4).

How devastating to have love paid back with false accusations. What did Jesus do in response? He gave Himself to prayer. Jesus used any reason to pray. Therefore, it is not surprising that He used the work of His accusers and the work of Judas as a reason to pray.

Do I use every circumstance in life to pray?
