Read the Bible in a Year This morning read Psalm 119:89--176 How to Keep Suffering From Destroying You Affliction happens to every single person. There are no exceptions. Therefore, it is best to be prepared for it beforehand. How true are the following words, 92 Unless Your law had been my delight, I would then have perished in my affliction. (Psa. 119:92). I have watched many Christians fall away from the Lord, because when they suffered, they were not prepared for it, and it destroyed them. Others have suffered greatly and not fallen, because they knew ahead of time what the Bible says about suffering. Therefore, they were able to endure it. Continue to meditate on the Scriptures day and night and you shall not wither during times of adversity, but you shall actually become stronger.
