After the church in Corinth withdrew from a member, he repented. Paul then said, 8 Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love to him (2 Cor. 2:8). At that point in time, to show him the love they did before was not enough. Therefore, Paul urged them to make an extra effort to show their love.
