Read the Bible in a Year This morning read Isaiah 5 and 6 The Triple Declaration of the Holiness of God If I am asked to speak somewhere and to bring my favorite sermon, it is "The Holiness of God." The text is Isaiah 6:1--10 with special emphasis upon verse 3, which says, 3 And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!" (Isa. 6:3). Remind yourself constantly today that God is holy. This truth is so vital that you will never find another triple declaration of another of God's attributes, but you will find another triple declaration of His holiness. However, I want you to find it. You will find it in one of the passages listed below, which are all of the passages that I have used in this sermon that I am talking about, although I do not use every passage every time I preach it. Do not cheat by consulting a concordance or by using Bible software. :-) Habakkuk 1:12,13 Jeremiah 2:5 1 John 1:5 Exodus 15:11 Isaiah 40:25 1 Samuel 6:19,20 2 Samuel 6:1-7 Isaiah 6:1-5 Exodus 3:5 Joshua 5:15 Isaiah 6:6-10 Revelation 4:6-8 James 1:17 Jeremiah 23:9 Habakkuk 1:12,13 Joshua 24:19,20 1 Samuel 2:2; Isaiah 40:25; Revelation 15:3,4 Psalm 15:1-5 Psalm 24:3,4 Isaiah 57:15-21 Hebrews 10:19,20 Mark 1:24 Hebrews 7:26 Isaiah 6:1-8 John 12:37-41 Philippians 2:5-8 Mark 4:38-41 Mark 5:14-17 Luke 5:4-11 Isaiah 30:9-11 Acts 3:14,15 Hebrews 12:10
