Read the Bible in a Year This evening read Ephesians 5:1--16 Use Time Wisely There is a time for everything, but he is wise who uses his time effectively. The Holy Spirit says, 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Eph. 5:15, 16). Buy up the daily opportunities because once they are gone, they can never be used again. Time is not like money in the bank, which we can leave alone and it grows so that we may take it out later and have more. Time does not grow. It only passes. Time has no mercy. It keeps ticking away. Time does not care for you. If you are in an emergency, the seconds keep moving at the same pace as a relaxing day at the beach. Therefore, the only thing that we can do is make the best of the moments that we have. When time is all gone, what will you have wished that you had done?
