Read the Bible in a Year This evening read Philippians 4 Let People See Your Gentleness There appears to be a fear over showing gentleness. We fear that if we show gentleness, people will take advantage of us. We fear that using gentleness toward people will not change them, but we believe by being demanding we shall make people do what we want done. However, remember the words of Philippians 4:5, 5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand (Phi. 4:5). If the Holy Spirit says to let your gentleness be known to all men, then let your gentleness be known to all men. The question is not whether gentleness is a good thing, but whether we believe that the Holy Spirit is right in telling us to be gentle toward all men.
