I have been reworking an old program shell in spare minutes
scraped from nights and dreamtime.

Last night while testing it, I found that it implemented
pasting, even tho:
- i don't use FB's edit menu, but my own
- i grab the menu choice with my own FN doPaste

I believed that FB would control cut/paste/copy in the
runtime if you used the EDIT MENU command and just let
it do its stuff. I (thought I) had overridden it as I
will need to cut/copy/paste other than just text.

Can anyone push me (gently) in the right direction
as to when FB (vanilla) takes over these menu commands
and how I can tell it to leave well alone and let me
knit these things for myself.

(the phenomenum being reproducible in daylight hours, it
doesn't seem to be induced by reduced sleep - unless of
course, I'm still sleeping now...)
