Hi Mark, I don't usually use Windows that are defined in ResEdit, but it can be done. In which case you can indicate that they are not initially visible in ResEdit (as we very often do with Dialogs), then do the color thing to them and finally CALL SHOWWINDOW to make them visible. There may be another way too, but I don't know what it is off the top of my head.
