I thought of that too - and was shocked that it wasnt scriptable!.

There must be somewhere that the settings are saved (and thus can be reset)
but exactly how is the trick!

I thought it might be the memory preference file, but that's not it either.

Anyone know if there is a toolbox call which sets VM (Gestalt will tell me
if it is on).
