Hi Pierre, If I remember correctly, I received a copy of Rez and DeRez with Apple's Macintosh Programmer's Workshop (MPW). This must have been at least 6 or 7 years ago. MPW was kind of pricey at the time and I never did take to it too much. It let you program in Pascal, C and/or Assemby Languages. I don't suppose it has changed much. I don't know what the copyright policies are for it. Seems like Rez, as with ResEdit, was free. I've looked at various sites and have not found a download for it, but here is one that might lead to something if you keep digging: (You can Download MPW Free from the Apple FTP site linked to following URL) http://developer.apple.com/tools/mpw-tools/about_mpw.html I also recall a Program called RMaker that I believe was distributed with the 68k Assembler. I believe it let you create Rez .RSRC and .R files. It seems to me that ResEdit was subsequently improved to the point that most didn't bother with Rez, but I could be wrong. Hope this has been of some help to you. Took me down memory lane a bit! Joe Wilkins
