Firstly apologies to the List Mom (Bill) for this off topic post.

I'm writing a scoring program and I want to find out what/how the different
sports around the world keep score.

The reason I'm asking the list is because the list includes members from
many different countries, and hopefully followers and fans of many different
sports.


What I want to find out is: are there sports that use other than a simple
whole number scoring system; ie: soccer counts goals (a whole number scoring
system) whereas australian rules scores goals & points


If you know of a sport that uses a system other than simple whole numbers,
please email me directly at furbies@....

Don't forget to include the name of the sport, and a description of the
scoring system. It doesn't need to be too detailed.
