Download the freeware "PICT Detective" from <http://www.palomar.com/Downloads/PICTDet.html> and take a look at what's "really" inside your PICTs. (Warning; this is _old_ software, may crash a lot, but it's the only way I know to get the real internals of a PICT.) I suspect you're getting the TrueType/ROM version of Chicago referenced - changing that to the bitmapped version _should_ work on the older Systems, and be automatically trapped over on the newer ones.
